Rescue dogs are some of the best dogs you can have. I know they may have been abused, or you are concerned about how they will get along with your children or other pets. It's all in how you treat them.
If you treat a dog with violence, they will become violent. If you treat with love and positive reinforcements, you get a dog that will become a loving companion.
Working with dogs is not an easy task, but it is a rewarding task. Many dogs that are adoptable have already been through trauma of some sort. So, take the time to consider and really think about a rescue dog. Visit your local county animal shelter and see what dog you want to give a second chance to.
